About the project:

Desires is a personal drawing project initiated in 2017 as an ongoing exploration of desire, freedom and female identity. Developed through research and artistic experimentation, the series combines drawing and symbolism to reflect on the relationship between the body, memory and lived experience.

Concept:

Using feminism and art history as a starting point, the project questions the traditional representation of women within visual culture. Repeated female bodies merge with natural forms, challenging established ideals while exploring vulnerability, identity and transformation through a personal perspective.

Proposal:

The series evolves through repetition rather than narrative, allowing each drawing to become part of a broader visual investigation. Organic elements intertwine with the body to create symbolic compositions that invite reflection on femininity, desire and the ways personal experience can be translated into visual language.
