About the project:
Jo, Judit, Juditha is an experimental theatre piece by Cia. La Sibil·la that combines visual theatre, live electronic music and installation. Inspired by real testimonies and historical references, the performance reflects on the meaning of revolution through an immersive stage experience where space, sound and image become equally important narrative tools.
Concept:
The scenography is built around the idea of the wound as both a physical trace and a historical metaphor. Inspired by the Japanese art of Kintsugi, the design explores fracture, memory and reconstruction. Rather than illustrating events, the space creates poetic images that invite the audience to reflect on violence, transformation and collective identity.
Proposal:
The stage was conceived as an immersive environment where scenography, sound and performance constantly interact. Plaster became the project’s central material, transforming throughout the performance to reveal fragility, destruction and change.
Combined with live music, shifting spatial compositions and visual installations, the design creates an atmospheric experience that places the audience inside the emotional landscape of the piece.
