About the project:

La col·lecció viscuda, la vida pintada is an exhibition celebrating the life and artistic legacy of Joan Abelló, developed for the Museu Abelló to commemorate the centenary of the artist’s death. Rather than presenting the collection as a chronological archive, the proposal invites visitors to experience the places, relationships and memories that shaped Abelló’s identity as both painter and collector. Through a sequence of immersive environments, artworks, personal objects and archival material come together to reveal the intimate connection between his life, his collection and his lifelong commitment to art.
